My name is Nicky and I live with Bas, Fien (2 years) and Saar (11 months) in Haarlem. From my own company I think up and organize events for the business market.

I am an ambassador for Stories to Cherish....

In 2004, my mother passed away at a young age . With the lessons I learned from her, I started Stichting Bretels together with my sisters in 2016. We support young families who are going to lose or have lost a parent. That is also my link with Stories to Cherish.

Stories (can) help with grief, because...

Both in my own life and in the lives of the families we support, I experience the great added value of reminiscing. Sharing the 'ordinary' and small memories of someone in this playful way makes you keep someone you miss very much close to you.
