I'm Gijs, a creative director, DJ and father of 35 years old. I live in Amsterdam and like to run far and

hard with the So Much Fun Run Club.

I am an ambassador for Stories to Cherish....

On December 6, 2022, my father suddenly passed away as a result of a ruptured aorta in his abdomen.

When it happened I was working at the World Cup in Qatar.

I am an ambassador for Stories to Cherish because I noticed how many beautiful things there are when playing the card game

memories and stories come flooding back.

Stories can help with grief, because they transcend loss and bereavement and the memory of my father

keep alive.
